Goodwill Celebrates 50 Years in Richland County

DSC04923MANSFIELD, Ohio — Jan. 13, 2014 — Goodwill Industries is celebrating 50 years in serving the Richland County area in January.  To thank the community for its support, both shopping and donating, a special celebration will be held at its Mansfield-area retail store from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Jan. 25, 2014.

“The generous donations we receive from the community allow us to provide our customers quality items at affordable prices,” said Nancy Ellis McClenaghan, president & CEO, Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland & Richland Counties.  “The rewarding part of shopping and donating at our stores is the investment in the community it provides to help individuals prepare for, find and retain employment.  In fact, during the last year we increased our job training services more than 200 percent in Richland County.”
