SHELBY, Ohio — Feb. 5, 2014 —Goodwill serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties has partnered with Marvin Memorial Library to offer free job search classes. The classes will cover topics such as identifying skills, job search tips, resume writing, interview skills and other soft skills.
“We are offering the Job Sense classes free as a community service; and participants can join at any time during the sessions,” said Kelley Bush, director of mission services, Goodwill serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties. “Goodwill understands having a job creates the economic energy that builds strong families and communities as well as builds self-confidence. These classes are a part of our mission to help individuals prepare for, find and retain employment.”

Dates: Feb. 5, 12, 19 and classes begin again in March
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
