Clerical Volunteer – assistance needed for the typing and layout of resumes for job seekers in the Employment Resource Center in the Waterloo Rd. office. Must have good typing/editing skills.

Mock Interviewer – conduct mock interviews with job search participants in the Employment Resource Center in the Waterloo Rd. office; ask common questions and critique the overall preparedness of the participant. Must have experience interviewing and be a high school graduate.

Maintenance/Housekeeping Volunteer – assistance needed to keep Goodwill Waterloo Rd. facility clean. Projects will include cleaning or painting. Must have ability to complete repetitive motion.

Data Processing – assistance needed with the data entry needs of the Industrial Services division at Waterloo Rd. Must have spreadsheet management skills and be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Excel.

Industrial Process Volunteer – volunteer with industrial/manufacturing experience needed to work alongside department director and staff and share knowledge of manufacturing processes and efficiencies at Waterloo Rd. 

Participant Mentor – volunteer needed to serve as a mentor to participants with disabilities assisting them in job-related duties and checking quality of work at Waterloo Rd. facility.

Assembler – Assist Industrial Services division in the area of assembly work and serve as role model and mentor for program participants at the Waterloo Rd. facility.

Sewing Consultant – volunteer with sewing experience needed to work alongside department director and staff and share knowledge of industrial sewing processes and efficiencies at the Waterloo Rd. facility.  

Vintage Clothing Volunteer – volunteers needed to assist in organizing and maintaining Goodwill’s Vintage Clothing collection at the Waterloo Rd. facility. M

Volunteer Bailer – assistance needed in retail division to operate bailer machine, baling salvage clothing at the Waterloo Rd. facility. Must be 21 years old.

Volunteer Donations Attendant – volunteer needed on-call basis to fill in at Attended Donation Centers, assisting donors with the unloading of their cars, filling out receipts, etc. Must have transportation.

Volunteer Processor – assistance needed to inspect donations, tag, hang and sort clothing, price items and place them on the sales floor at all Goodwill locations.
