Goodwill retail stores are a shopper's dream. With 10 stores, an outlet store, and an auto outlet, shoppers are sure to find what they are looking for! Thousands of items arrive daily to each of our retail stores, ensuring something new and unique can be found at each visit. Goodwill is proud to offer quality, brand name, new and used merchandise to value-conscious customers at everyday low prices. Your purchases from Goodwill help to support our training and job placement programs. In 2006, our stores generated more than $8.6 million to support these programs in our community.
Each store also serves as
a training center for individuals enrolled in our programs. We
provide on-the-job training for future cashiers, sales associates
and stock associates. So whether you are shopping in our stores or
donating to Goodwill, you are
helping to support our mission of helping individuals
prepare for, find and retain employment. Two Grand Openings in 2008!
Also, we celebrated the grand opening of the newly renovated Medina Goodwill Retail Store, January 18 and 19. Customers enjoyed special savings from 15 to 50 percent off the regular low Goodwill prices, prize drawings, and more. WQMX hosted a radio remote at the store, located at 3500 Medina Road. Store hours are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Kent/Ravenna Area Store Re-opened
The ceremonial ribbon was cut on Goodwill's recently relocated retail store in Kent, July 12, 2007. Although the store only moved across the parking lot to 2528 State Route 59, the new store offers shoppers 8,000 square feet of shopping space and a convenient drive-up donation center. In keeping with Goodwill's mission, members of the community will find a job search station for those looking for employment and a conference room is available, free of charge, for community groups and other non-profit organizations. The location also has a Vocational Services office that assists with participant referrals from Portage County.
On hand to help cut the ribbon were Portage County Commissioners Maureen Frederic and Chuck Keiper, Peter Meisel, partner of Carnegie Companies LLC, and Bill Glaeser, Goodwill board member and first vice-chair.
