MISSION SERVICES
JOB TRAINING SPECIALIST - 1 Flex & 1 O/C Ashland/Richland/Medina Counties~ Provide on-the-job training on an individual basis for persons with disabilities to assist them with learning new job skills at the worksites. Serve as liaison between vocational counselors and participants. prepare and maintain progress reports and updates for referral sources. BA/BS degree preferred in social services or related area of study, and/or equivalent experience. Excellent oral and communication skills. Ability to multi-task and remain flexible. Valid driving permit.
CASE MANAGER - SPECIAL PROJECTS 1 O/C (With potential for Full Time) – Case Manager for Foster Care Youths referred from CSB. Coordinate services provided by other agencies such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, CSB and other community service organizations identified as needed. Provide accurate and timely documentation in GWA and JFS databases. Interact and coordinate services for referred youth with JFS and CSB staff liaison. BA/BS preferred and/or equivalent experience in Case Management. Experience in employment and training programs. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work patiently and effectively.

BA/BS in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred, along with/or equivalent experience in Case Management.

MANAGER – INTERNAL/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS – 1 Full Time Waterloo Rd. – Will be responsible for internal and external communications andn public relations activities for the agency. Duties will include budget development, coordination of internal and external events, including luncheons, Goodwill Industries Week, open houses, coordinate with community contacts and media contacts. Draft and distribution of press releases. Coordinate agency speaking engagements. Represent Goodwill at community events (will involve working nights/weekends as needed). Maintain database for mailings, create mailings, manage agency website and social media presence. Facilitate design of annual report and other agency related marketing materials. Facilitate and manage all agency related advertising. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Board Relations, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
FINANCE
SHOPGOODWILL SALES ASSOCIATE – 1 o/c Waterloo Rd – Increase sales opportunities by visiting Goodwill retail locations to train personnel on identifying quality merchandise to be listed on shopgoodwill.com. Sort through items at various locations, write descriptions, price and place on internet. Maintain records and communicate with customers. Assist other shopgoodwill personnel with various job duties. Computer knowledge, specifically internet and web page is required. Knowledge of collectables and antiques, excellent written skills, 1-2 years of retail sales experience and a valid driver’s license is required.
RETAIL
STORE MANAGER - 1 FT Brunswick - Manage retail store location, ensure smooth flow of operation and provide excellent customer service to achieve company financial goals. Ability to effectively liaise with the community. Two years’ experience in a retail supervisory or management role required. Minimum HS diploma. BS degree in Business Management preferred; basic computer literacy including internet, email and word processing required.
KEY HOLDER - 1 FT Waterloo Rd, 1 FT Mansfield, 1 Flex Lakemore - Responsibilities include sorting and pricing donations, cashiering and opening and closing procedures. Some customer service/retail experience preferred. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that is acceptable to Goodwill’s liability insurance provider. Work all shifts.

CONTRACT SERVICES
SEWER - 1 FT, 2 O/C Waterloo Road ~ Create assorted projects such as safety vests, flags, and laundry bags. Must be able to run single stitch, serger and industrial sewing machines (walking foot). Must be able to sustain standard levels of production on repetitive tasks. Ability to comprehend directions. 3-5 years experience preferred but home sewing experience will be considered.
ASSEMBLER SU - 2 O/C Waterloo Rd ~Perform assembly and packaging operations for various customers. Perform general light industrial tasks as needed. Must have a physician certified disability as defined by the ADA per the requirements of Goodwill’s State Use Contracts. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 year experience in manufacturing environment. Must be able to count accurately, lift a minimum of 25 pounds.

DOCK WORKER - 1 FT 2 PT, Waterloo Rd - Load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers using tow motor, hand pallet jack and dollies. Must follow company policies and safety procedures to ensure store merchandise service. Receive shipped merchandise. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with full range of motion, basic math skills, valid drivers’ license and ability to work in adverse weather conditions required. Must work every other weekend.
DRIVER - 1 PT Waterloo Rd – Transport donated goods to any of the Goodwill locations in Akron, Wadsworth, Streetsboro, Hudson, Mansfield, Northfield, Ashland, Cuyahoga Falls, Medina, Brunswick, Ellet or Kent. Class A CDL, ability to carry a DOT medical card and a clean driving record required. 3-5 years experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
