The mission of Goodwill’s WEYE Seeing Eye Radio is to provide the opportunity for those with vision loss in Summit, Portage, Medina and Ashland and Richland Counties to stay connected with the world around them by providing access to the printed word through the use of technology and volunteer readers. WEYE Seeing Eye Radio endeavors to provide a radio receiver to every resident who wants one and to implement technological advancements to help provide access to those who desire and have a need for the radio reading service.
WEYE Seeing Eye Radio envisions that it will support its listeners by improving their quality of life, their independent access to printed information and their status as informed, secure, and active members of their communities.
