YEOW! Program
Youth Employment Opportunities to Work!
Youth Employment Opportunities to Work or YEOW is a collaboration between Goodwill and Catholic Social Services in support of Summit County Children Services (SCCS). The program is designed to give youth ages 15-17 either living in foster care or who are at-risk due to family or academic problems, opportunities to participate in self-sufficiency and employment programs to better ensure success in life. The goals of the program are to prevent homelessness when aged out of foster care, provide employment training, encourage job retention and teach money management skills. The program will allow foster youth to obtain and maintain community-based employment.
