Employment Resource Center (ERC) Summit County
The ERC offers services for anyone looking for employment. Through the ERC you will have a link to job search resources like classes and workshops on job related topics, a full-service job search center, help with your resume, interviewing skills and help connecting with employers in the area who are looking for qualified employees. You may also be directed to appropriate training and education opportunities.
Funded in Summit County by the Summit County Department of Job and Family Services through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA).

Classes are held 2 times each month:
2nd Thursday at the Brunswick Goodwill Store (conference room) located @ 1733 Pearl Road.
4th Thursday at the Medina City Library, Community Room “B” located @ 210 S. Broadway

- 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. ~ Executive job networking

Vocational Services
Goodwill’s vocational services department operates on a referral basis only with local agencies like, Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, Office of Developmental Disabilities, and local public school systems among others. Through our Vocational Services programs we have helped hundreds of individuals with disabilities make their employment goals a reality. Join this interactive bi-weekly workshop to sharpen your skills in getting and keeping employment. Facilitated by Goodwill Job Development Specialist Jacquie Walker, participants will gain tips to effectively fill out paper and on-line applications, learn the do’s and don’t’s of interviewing, get hints on job search networking, discover how to get your foot in the door and much more!
